Sidney Royal Selby III or Desiigner is a well known and renowned American singer, rapper, and songwriter.  He began his music career with the nickname Dezolo, followed by Designer Royel and eventually Desiigner. “Zombie Walk” which was released on 3rd December 2015, marked his debut track. He then released his first commercial debut single, titled “Panda” on 15th December 2015. He and Kanye West’s GOOD Music signed a recording contract on 11th February 2016. Later on, he appeared in two songs, “pt.2” and “Freestyle 4”. He also performed at the “South by Southwest” music festival. On 24th May 2016, he announced the title of his debut album, “the life of Desiigner” with Mike Dean being the executive producer.  Desiigner made a guest appearance in the song “Champions” which was released in June 2016. He made his US television debut in the same month where he performed his single “panda” in the 2016’s BET awards. He was amongst the 10 artists that were selected as the annual “Freshman Class” for the year 2016, by XXL magazine. He was also honoured in the concert of American pop singers Demi Lovato. Soon after, on 26th June 2016, he released his first full-length mixtape, which was titled “New English”. His other track “Tiimmy Turner” premiered on 21st July 2016. During his career, he also appeared in a Netflix show called “Bill Nye Saves the World” as a special guest. He also featured in the remix of the song “Mic Drop” released on 24th November 2017.
