Joey along with Capital Steez released a video on their YouTube channel, “PROfckingERA” for survival tactics. Soon after in February 2012, they released their first mixtape, “The Secc$ tape”. Joey then went on to release his first solo mixtape titled, “1999”. Later in that year, on 6th September, Joey released another mixtape called, “Rejex”. Joey Badass and Mac Miller together collaborated for, “America” released in April 2012. Soon after this hit, “P.E.E.P: The apocalypse” mixtape was released by pro era. Some other releases of Joey were, “Enter the void” on 9th November 2012, “Summer Knights: Unorthodox” on 14th January 2013, “Underground Airplay” on 8th February in the same year.
